Baby Steps Through Motherhood

Josh is trying out this new slide show effect for the pics. It was a busy day today. We have been enjoying the weather lately. We went to a MOPS picnic at Lori Singleton’s house and she lives on a bunch of land with a pasture and a creek. You can guess where Preston and Naomi were the whole time…in the water. Preston even stuck his head under!! They loved it!! They also go to walk up to the stables and see the horses. Naomi wasn’t even a little scared. She would have walked right up to them if she would have had the chance. Preston is already asking when we can go back to Mrs. Lori’s house. She is also his Sunday School teacher right now so he really like that he knows her and Mr. Rick. You can also see the new talent Preston has learned. I don’t know if it is a good thing or a bad thing to teach them to pee outside but I am sure it will come in handy sometime.


The other adventure we had was we went to DeAna Rose Farmstead. Preston loves this place. There is so much to do there but I wasn’t going to try to go with all 3 by myself yet. They are all a bit too young for me to feel comfortable with that so mom came with us. She had a good time as well so that was great. Naomi loved the cows. ( I am thinking she likes animals.) She started climbing up the gate to where the big cow was. We can also ride these little tractors around the track, feed the goats, and lots of other things. The cool thing is most of the stuff is free to do. There is so much to do we never get it all done before tiredness sets in.

Insert pic here...ha This is where I found Naomi this morning. (Aren’t you curious) I tell you what…she never fails to amaze me! She is talking more and her favorite word today….NO…isnt that a great one to hear all the time. Makenna is 3.5 months now. Time flies. She loves making noises and blowing bubbles with her mouth. I think she is taking after Preston because she is a running faucet. Her shirt or more recently her bib is constantly wet!
