Naomi

My mom brought it to my attention that there weren’t many pics of Naomi recently so I thought I would bless you all with some.
img_5594 She has bunches of things in her sleeper right now. She was putting all sorts of things down her shirt but they didn’t fall out since she had on footy pajamas. Silly girl. She also wouldn’t let me touch her hair so it is how it is. Ha.

Meet Garrett

We got to meet my dear friend Stephanie’s little boy. Stephanie lives in Texas now but we are friends from high school. She was in town for Easter and we got to meet her little boy who was born exactly 1 month before Makenna. You can’t tell because he is much bigger than our little Makenna but it was great fun seeing both of them.

Here are all the little ones laying with the babies.

Bunnies

We were playing outside on a beautiful day and look what we found. Some bunnies. Five baby bunnies. Well, after I got over the shock of seeing beady eyes in the mulch and realizing what they were and that they wouldn’t attack us, we discovered that the bunnies had dug up a little hole in the mulch on our berm in the backyard and they were sleeping in there. We aren’t sure where the mommy is but we saw her on Easter. So, after we disturbed them from their sleep and they hopped under bushes and the fence we got to hear Naomi be super excited saying “bunny” over and over and over. Preston wanted to hold them and pick them up himself but we didn’t let him. He just pet them while they were hiding under the fence. I bet you can guess what the first thing he wanted to do the next morning. Yes, he wanted to go outside and see if they returned to their nest but they hadn’t. They must have moved on to some other place. It was fun while it lasted.

Happy Easter

The kids had a great Easter and we did too. He is Risen!! We had a easter egg hunt in our living room and basement with some eggs Josh, I mean the easter bunny, had bought and hidden. Naomi really got the hang of her first egg hunt. She learned real fast how to search for them and get the into her basket. The girls looked so cute in their dresses and Preston was handsome too. A few days before Easter we did a little activity with marshmellows and biscuits. You put the marshmellow (Jesus) in the roll (tomb) and close it up. Then you cook it and the marshmellow is gone. At least it is suppose to dissolve. So, it show that Jesus is no longer in the tomb. We did it with our friends Joy and Caleb. The boys were so funny saying “Jesus is not in here” whenever they ate the biscuits.

Who am I?

i like this game…or at least it seems like it because I did a similar post earlier.

We went to eat with the family. It was a nice time to get to be together. Our waitress was in love with Naomi and kept coming back to talk to her throughout our meal. Anyhow, she thought she looked like Shiloh Pitt….you know Brad Pitt’s daughter. I didn’t know what she looked like so we came home and searched for her online. Our neighbor had said the same thing months back but I had forgot about it. Anyhow, here is a pic of Shiloh…
She does kinda resemble Naomi, weird huh? Of course nothing can top our precious Naomi and all her personality!

What to do with your yard?

Ok, I am giving you the link to Josh’s blog so that you can know what he suggests doing to get your yard ready for the Spring/Summer.

Easter Eggstravaganza

Preston and I went to out church’s Easter Eggstravaganza yesterday. Just the 2 of us went because Naomi got sick on the way to church in the morning so she had to miss out on the fun. We got to do a Easter Egg “gathering” because it was snowing outside we had it inside.

He was not scared of the Easter Bunny this year. In the past he had ran the other way, crying! This year he kept trying to find the bunny and go give it hugs.

He got to play lots of fun little games and make a few crafts. He had a great time and hasn’t stopped talking about his candy. He is old enough now that we can’t eat it all without him noticing but he is so nice that he wants to share with us.
